Langley Resort Napoleon Bonaparte is a pompous resort in the picturesque village of Ile Rousse. It is located right by the beach, in the center of town. Because of this, we believe it is the ideal getaway and starting point for exploring Corsica.
Langley Resort Napoleon Bonaparte is a unique experience in the heart of Corsican culture. Built in 1839, the hotel has provided housing for many influential people of the past. Today it is not just a historical landmark - it's also one of the most popular resorts in Ile Rousse.
In 2011, a new building was introduced to the resort. In the summer of 2018, a large portion of the castle rooms were renovated with new parquet floors, windows, lighting, furniture and textiles. The rooms are spacious, and the decor is a mixture of classic/modern elegance. All rooms are equipped with TV and air-conditioning.
The restaurant serves a locally inspired three-course dinner each evening. The wine list mainly consists of local wines so that you can experience the true flavors of Corsica. It also offers seating both on the large terrace outside and in the castle's dining room. Dinner is served with a fashionable open kitchen concept to bring you closer to the cuisine.
Napoleon is located 100 meters from the beautiful beach of Ile Rousse, in the very center of the village. The picturesque boutiques, restaurants, bakeries and the harbor are just a few minutes by foot. Don’t feel like doing anything on your holiday? Try heading down towards the pool area. We serve cocktails, fresh fruit juice, paninis and an à la carte lunch menu in the pool bar.
Need help exploring the island? We offer a variety of activities and excursions; wine Tasting, zip lining the famous via-ferrata, diving, snorkeling, amongst many other things. The hotel also has a tennis court, pétanque court, carambole table and a small library.

To be able to exercise during your vacation is important for us at Resort Napoleon Bonaparte. That is why our tennis courts were renovated in 2013 with state of the art surface “Play it Claytech” which is a carpet-like surface that is covered with ceramic sand, which gives you a clay-like surface, but without the bad bounces and the “slippery when wet” situations. During much of the season we have a professional tennis trainer there to help both children and adults to improve their game
Corsica is truly a remarkable island with stunning views and a rich flora. One of the best ways to discover the islands beauty is to go hiking. There are many trails starting around Ile Rousse and they are very easy to find. If you want help please ask our staff for guidance and they will be happy to point you in the right direction. Remember to bring lots of water! If you are interested in a more challenging hike we can book a hiking guide for you.
We want all our guests to have the best possible stay, regardless of their age. Therefore we have our own kids club at the hotel for children up to age 12. The kids club strives to fill the days with fun, games and lots of laughter. We aim to be outside as much as possible and activate the children.
Here we serve our rich breakfast as well as our three-course dinners in the evening. The meals are an exotic blend of Corsican, French and Scandinavian cuisine that will leave you wanting for more. The main course is prepared in our show-kitchen where you can see our chefs at work. The starter and desert are buffet-style with our kitchen staff ready at hand to answer any of your questions.

A seaside town in North West Corsica is one of the most beautiful areas of the “Ile de Beauté” (island of beauty), the Balagne region: beautiful beaches with turquoise and crystal water, breathtaking coves, numerous water sports, and the city of Calvi at only 25 km.
Ile Rousse is a charming authentic village with an abundance of small shops and excellent restaurants. A lunch at for example Mariana on the beach is an unforgettable experience. For those interested in food you do not want to miss the weekly market in the center of the village.
A morning walk up to the village's lighthouse is something we highly recommend. The view from up there as the sun rises over the island is spectacular, don't forget to bring a camera.
You can also discover the many small medieval villages of Corsica, local crafts, the Corsican culture, wine routes, the World Biosphere Reserve Valley Fango and much more. For the hiking afficionado, some of the highest mountains on Corsica are within a short drive of the hotel. The island has a stunning 117 mountain peaks that are over 2000 meters.
