Langley is a family-owned company that consist of one tour operator based in Scandinavia and one Hotel & Resort operator that operates in Europe and the Caribbean. Your role

We're looking for service-minded and organised people to join our reception teams across our Alpine hotels this winter. We offer a range of positions, from Receptionist and Night Receptionist to Reception Supervisor and Reception Manager.

While the responsibilities vary between the roles, they all play an important part in creating a welcoming experience for our guests and ensuring that the hotel operates smoothly throughout the season.

As part of our reception team, you'll be one of the first people guests meet when they arrive and someone they can rely on throughout their stay.

Depending on the position, you may work primarily with guest service and administration, support the daily operation of the reception, or take on leadership responsibilities within the team. You'll work closely with colleagues across the hotel and help ensure that guests receive the high level of service we strive to deliver.

Typical responsibilities may include:

  • Welcoming guests and handling check-in and check-out
  • Managing bookings, emails and guest enquiries
  • Providing destination tips and local recommendations
  • Supporting guests throughout their stay
  • Working closely with housekeeping, restaurant and hotel management teams
  • Coordinating and supporting the reception team in Supervisor and Manager roles
 
Your profile

You enjoy working with people and understand the importance of great service. You're organised, solution-oriented and comfortable working in a dynamic environment where no two days are exactly alike.

Depending on the position, previous experience in reception, hospitality, customer service or leadership may be required. All reception roles require strong communication skills and fluent English. For most positions, a good level of French is also required, while additional languages are considered an advantage. Experience working in an international environment is a plus.

Requirements
  • Previous experience from reception, hospitality or customer service
  • Leadership experience is an advantage for Supervisor and Manager positions
  • Strong communication and organisational skills
  • Service-minded with a positive and professional attitude
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
  • Fluent English required
  • French is required for most reception positions
  • Additional languages are a plus
  • Experience working in multicultural environments is an advantage
