Instagram

Welcome to your Instagram playground!
This is where you make Langley come alive, one post, one story, one momnet at a time.

Think of yourself as the eyes of the hotel: wha life feels like in the Alps: the people, the food, the laughter, and the everyday moments that make each hotel special.

It's not about filters or perfection - it's about catching the feeling and letting people in.

Ready? Let's show them the view.

What to post

Keep it simple and real - you don't need fancy gear or filters. Focus on moments that show what Langley feels like.

Our content mix:
Destination (30%)
Show the environment - mountains, trails, villages, views, snow, sun.
Tip: Use natural light and movement - ski lifts, wind, footsteps, steam from coffee.

Hotel (30%)
Show the hotel as the basecamp: design detials, coxy corners, social spaces, everyday life.
Example: Coffee, skimaps, mornings in the lobby.

People (20%)
Show guests, staff, laughter, action, emotion.

Food (20%)
Show the flavour and atmosphere - not just the plate. Food prep, kitchen, waiting staff.
Tip: Capture movement: pouring wine, steam from a dish, the sound of a pan.

How often

Aim for 2-3 posts per week and a few stories, preferably everyday/every other day. Stories can involve daily life like weather, guests arriving, kitchen moments, views, aprés, or anything spontaneous.

Stories

Stories are for quick, real updates:
- SHow what's happening right now
- Weather updates
- Guest activities or behind-the-scenes
- Add music and text to make it fun (only commercial sounds)

Captions & Hashtags

Short & friendly captions, be yourself.
3 hashtags are enough
Example:

#langleyliving #dinner #chamonix

Instagram takeover

For approximately one week/season, one hotel at a time will get do takeover the @langleyhotels account, to post stories from their hotel/destination during the week.

This is a chance to show your hotel's personality, the people, the atmosphere and what makes your hotel/destination special.

Post stories like you normally would (no posts in the feed): short clips, warm moments, food, views, guests and team life.

We'll let you know when it is your turn to do the takeover and go through a few guidelines before you start.
Have fun with it, it's your moment to show your version of Langley life.
Tip: Check out the highlight "Alpe d'Huez" on the @langleyhotels account, for inspiration and insights in what we are looking for.

If a guest tags you or posts something great:
1. DM them "Hi! We love your content - can we share it on our account? We'll credit your account of course!"
