Langley Resort Fort Royal is a beachfront resort in the French West Indies, on the island of Guadeloupe, just outside the charming town of Deshaies. With over 300 rooms and bungalows, and a wide range of activities, the resort offers a relaxed, international atmosphere by the sea.
We are looking for an experienced, hands on Head Chef to lead our kitchen. You will manage a team of around 20 employees in high season and ensure that our French European cuisine with Caribbean influences is delivered to a consistently high standard.
This is a highly operational role where you work closely with your team in daily service while also driving structure, quality, and improvements together with the Hotel Manager.
You have experience from a similar role in a larger hotel or resort and feel confident both in your craft and your leadership.
You enjoy working close to your team, stay calm under pressure, and bring a positive, hands on mindset. Experience in French or European cuisine is essential, and international or Caribbean experience is a strong plus.
For this role, fluent English is required, and knowledge of French is a big plus.
