Langley Ski Lodge Grand Nord is a simple but affordable accommodation in the middle of the popular ski resort Val d'Isère. It's located a short walk from the village center and the ski bus to the lifts is right outside the hotel. The hotel has a cozy restaurant serving breakfast and dinner every day.
Classic Ski Lodge Grand Nord offers central and very affordable accommodation in the fantastic and exclusive ski resort Val d'Isère.
The Ski Lodge feeling should not be underestimated but as a guest you should not set your expectations too high as the hotel has its flaws. A hearty skier’s breakfast is served each morning and a three-course dinner is served in the evening.
Grand Nord breathes French mountaineering, with wooden floors and walls with beamed ceilings and carved doors. The hotel is simple but the atmosphere is warm and familiar and the rooms vary in standard.
Close to everything
The location is great and it takes only a few minutes to walk to the center of Val d'Isère. The lifts can be reached either by walk or by taking the free shuttle bus 150 meters from the hotel. The ski rental is in the basement of the hotel where we offer ski rental and affordable ski service.
Pets are welcome at the hotel for a fee. Due to the health legislation they are not allowed in the restaurant.
At Langley Ski Lodge Grand Nord we serve a breakfast buffet each morning. In the evening we serve a tasty three-course menu inspired by the local cuisine, cooked and presented according to carefully prepared recipes. To make the dining experience perfect, we also offer a well-sorted wine list with both local and international wines.
Restaurant is open everyday.
One of the most famous destinations in the French Alps, and for good reason. The village is located in the heart of the Tarentaise valley with access to vast terrains of groomed runs. On top of that there are multiple excellent restaurants, great shopping and a very popular night life. In short the village offers something for everyone and does so with an air of exclusivity and elegance. Val d'Isère is home to many wealthy families and this can be seen all over the village.
The skiing area is expansive and includes two glaciers, one of which is in Tignes on the other side of the mountains. This makes the area very snow-safe and the season starts early and ends late. For the more extreme skier there is ample offpist areas. We will gladly help you book a mountain guide to find the best spots.
Night time in Val d'Isère is when the city really comes alive. With it's many bars and excellent restaurants it is easy to see why. For those wanting to stay out late there are several very popular night clubs.
